Biomechanics





My research interests are primarily in orthopaedic biomechanics, specifically of the human shoulder.  In my graduate school research at the Orthopaedic Research Labs at the University of Michigan, I studied the muscular and ligamentous stabilizing factors for the glenohumeral joint of the shoulder; my dissertation research examined the 2D strain fields of the shoulder capsule under subluxation.
